The Syrian Establishment for International Fairs and Exhibitions (SEIFE), headquartered in Damascus, is a founding member of the global association for fairs UFI and a member of the Arab Union for International Exhibitions and Conferences.
SEIFE works to organize and supervise local and international exhibitions, forming a delegation export sector to promote Syrian exports and foster trade connections worldwide.
SEIFE organizes specialized exhibitions inside Syria and oversees national participations in foreign exhibitions in cooperation with the public and private business sectors.
SEIFE is responsible for organizing the Damascus international fair. The first edition was held in 1954 at the fairground at the heart of Damascus. In 2003, the location was moved to the fairground on the Damascus International Airport Highway, with an area of 1,200,000 square meters.
